TASK Session 1 Overview & Registration (August 31 - October 30)
Monday = LEGO Masters
Calling all Master Builders! LEGO Masters invites students to explore creative building challenges, work together on collaborative builds, and enjoy open-ended free building fun.
Tuesday = Creativity Corner
Students will use their imaginations to think outside the box, experiment with different materials, and turn their ideas into something real. Each class introduces a new medium and technique as students explore color, texture, and design through fun, hands-on projects.
Wednesday = Game On!
Ready, set, play! Students will enjoy a rotation between board games, outdoor games, and bingo. Students will learn game rules, develop critical thinking skills, and practice good sportsmanship as they compete and collaborate.
Thursday = Passport Adventures
Each week, students will “visit” a new country through fun, hands-on crafts and creative activities inspired by its culture, traditions, and landmarks!
Friday
Calling all curious minds! Curiosity Club is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for students to explore dinosaurs, space, weather, nature, and more through fun experiments and activities. There's always something new to discover!
Pick-Up: Designations of adults approved to pick up your children must be in writing.
Bad Weather Policy: If school is dismissed early for any reason, TASK will automatically be canceled and parents should tune into the WCEI radio station.
Scholarships: Programs are open to all children regardless of their ability to pay. PLEASE contact Allie Harris for scholarships. All requests are strictly confidential. No child will be turned away!
Transportation: Bus transportation is not provided. However, carpool information is provided upon request.

By completing the registration form I am acknowledging the following:
My child has my permission to participate in the Tilghman After School Kids (TASK) Program. I understand that injury is always possible as a result of participation in such an activity.
I hereby release Talbot County Public Schools, the Tilghman Area Youth Association, Inc., and their employees or volunteers from any liability due to injury of any kind that may occur before, during or after said participation in TASK activities.
I understand that my child is required to participate in a homework segment of the program each day during TASK.
