TASK Session 4 Overview & Registration (March 30 - June 05)

Monday = LEGO Masters

Calling all Master Builders! LEGO Masters invites students to explore creative building challenges, work together on collaborative builds, and enjoy open-ended free building fun.

Tuesday = Crafty Crafters

Young artists are invited to join us for a weekly art adventure! Each class introduces a new medium and technique as students explore color, texture, and design through fun, hands-on projects.

Wednesday = Unplugged Gamers

Join us for a fun afternoon where anyone who enjoys tabletop games can come compete or collaborate with friends! From cooperative adventures to competitive challenges we'll cover a range of game types while practicing following directions and good sportsmanship and having fun with fellow gamers!

Thursday

PreK-2nd: Dino Adventures Embark on an exciting expedition into the prehistoric world of dinosaurs! Students will learn about major dinosaur groups, discover how fossils are formed and make their own fossil imprints.

3rd-5th: Pokemon Club Dive into the exciting world of Pokémon! Led by Pokémon enthusiast Ms.Kalynn Fogler, this club is perfect for fans of all levels. Explore strategies, discover favorite characters, and connect with your buddies through games, activities, and discussions about all things Pokémon.

Friday

STEAM Powered Girls: Calling all girls who love science, art, and engineering! Discover the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through hands on projects and challenges.

Teamwork Friday: Cooperative games, challenges, and escape rooms that build communication and empathy. Encourages social-emotional learning and group bonding




Pick-Up:  Designations of adults approved to pick up your children must be in writing.  

Bad Weather Policy: If school is dismissed early for any reason, TASK will automatically be canceled and parents should tune into the WCEI radio station.

Scholarships: Programs are open to all children regardless of their ability to pay. PLEASE contact Allie Harris for scholarships. All requests are strictly confidential. No child will be turned away!

Transportation: Bus transportation is not provided. However, carpool information is provided upon request.

By completing the registration form I am acknowledging the following:

My child has my permission to participate in the Tilghman After School Kids (TASK) Program. I understand that injury is always possible as a result of participation in such an activity.

I hereby release Talbot County Public Schools, the Tilghman Area Youth Association, Inc., and their employees or volunteers from any liability due to injury of any kind that may occur before, during or after said participation in TASK activities. 

I understand that my child is required to participate in a homework segment of the program each day during TASK.
