TASK Session 2 Overview & Registration (November 3 - January 23)
Monday = Crafty Crafter
Hands-on projects: building, crafting, inventing (cardboard challenges, recycled crafts) with guest artist Nancy Sullivan! A creative start to the week with hands-on building and design.
Tuesday = Cardboard Creations
Use Makedo and upcycled cardboard to build anything from a flower to a fort or a mask to a maze. Let your imagination run wild! Creative fun for all ages.
Wednesday = Culinary Exploration
Students will learn to follow recipes, measure, mix, fold, cut, and learn the joys of making something tasty.
Thursday = Mad Science
Explore the wacky and wonderful world of science through various hands-on experiments!
Friday = Fitness Friday
PreK-2nd: Get ready to move, play, and explore in our Move and Play class! This class encourages physical activity through playful games that promote coordination, balance, and teamwork.
3rd-5th: Jump in and explore different team sports with Blu Schmitz! Students will learn the ins and outs of various team sports,and how to have fun while staying active and healthy!
Pick-Up: Designations of adults approved to pick up your children must be in writing.
Bad Weather Policy: If school is dismissed early for any reason, TASK will automatically be canceled and parents should tune into the WCEI radio station.
Scholarships: Programs are open to all children regardless of their ability to pay. PLEASE contact Allie Harris for scholarships. All requests are strictly confidential. No child will be turned away!
Transportation: Bus transportation is not provided. However, carpool information is provided upon request.

By completing the registration form I am acknowledging the following:
My child has my permission to participate in the Tilghman After School Kids (TASK) Program. I understand that injury is always possible as a result of participation in such an activity.
I hereby release Talbot County Public Schools, the Tilghman Area Youth Association, Inc., and their employees or volunteers from any liability due to injury of any kind that may occur before, during or after said participation in TASK activities.
I understand that my child is required to participate in a homework segment of the program each day during TASK.
